Kaolinite

Chalium is a mineral with a vast field of industrial applications, due to its technological characteristics. It is chemically inert, composed of hydrated aluminum silicates, such as kaolinite and halloysite, while can also be called kaolin or kaolin, reinforced for load applications. The mineral has low thermal and electrical conductivity, with the ability to cover when used as a pigment, soft and non-abrasive, in white or almost white color (whiteness).

Main Applications

Main applications: paper industries, manufacture of cosmetics, soaps, toothpaste, and certain plastics, as a filler for wall plaster, linoleum and oil coating, preparation of aniline-based paints and pigments, as an inert vehicle for insecticides, mild abrasives, hardener in the textile industry.
