The industrial barium carbonate is a mineral extracted from barium, white in color and with a high density. 

Main Applications

Main applications: employed in pesticides, porcelain manufacture, glassware, and formerly for sugar refining. Also used to control chromate in chrome plating of industrial and decorative metal parts.
