Clay comes from the silicates family. It is a hydrated aluminum silicate, the most common of which are kaolinite and montmorillonite. Clays are usually associated with other materials/minerals, such as organic matter, soluble salts, quartz, feldspar, carbonate, and silicates. They are available in white, yellow, brown, and green.
Main applications: handicrafts, ceramics, construction, cosmetics, filtration, foundry, geotherapy, waterproofing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, refractory, steel industry, paints, etc. Granulometry/Mesh: 200 and 325.
